I don't like the storage cap. It adds little to the game, but creates a lot of frustruation. The worst part is how it interacts with base modules: Normally, deconstructing a building refunds 100% of cost. But when I hit the storage cap, boom, all of that module is lost. No warnings in advance.
If an inserter picks up an item that is not meant to go into the specific production building he is connected to, he will be blocked for a couple of seconds. That might be what youre witnessing. The solution is to plan conveyor belts accordingly. Cheers
Yeah I realized that I wasn't actually doing it properly. Although I do think it'd be nice for a little bit of a hint or two for how some things work just for people to understand what's happening.
It's not clear what the counter for how many Automotons you have are. I only just realised it's the first number on the meter. I thought that was showing the progress.
I don't think I can play it with my current computer. The game seems to be working but the progress is stuttered for some reason.
I finally moused-over to see why my fuel wasn't extracting and the arm was facing the wrong way. Is there a way to rotate them without having to buy a new one?
weird bug currently where the game resolution is way too big and it's impossible to see the game menu. Fixed by lowering the zoom level in browser (ctrl + -) . Interestingly once done you can go back up to normal zoom level (ctrl + 0) and it works fine. Tested this in both Firefox and chrome.
Export Save doesn't work for me - I click the button, but nothing happens (nothing gets copied to my clipboard, no file, nothing), and my save got erased last time I played (if there is any kind of save system)
In case people encounter resolution issues, maybe try out ctrl + mouse wheel to zoom out / zoom in. That could potentially fix it. Not sure why it happens to some. Cheers
You have to click on the "Town" button in the top right (which is partly blocked by the itch buttons. Reaching the named buttons is easy enough, but the settings button requires you control+scroll in the page itself and makes the game misbehave because the ui code handles resolution changes badly), then you can click to upgrade your max automatons!
I'm finding this pretty interesting, so hopefully you're able to give it a shot and see what you think, too!

Man,
I'd [REDACTED] a [REDACTED] to make two conveyors cross over each other.
Idk why but sometimes the automations don't produce anything and I have to destroy and place them again.
Edit: I might be stupid
I see the same thing with the inserters, they get stuck and refuse to pickup anything until replaced

The inserters get stuck and refuse to pick up anything if there are more than 1 resource on a conveyor

Do inserters not take items from storage?

Generally exporting a save should download a file, this can either be a browser issue or something like a firewall blocking it.
While the game also saves locally (with the continue game button), these get deleted or rather inaccessible due to how itch.io handles new builds.
Cheers
Can confirm, it works for me in Edge, but not Firefox.

No idea what to do. Can't click anything. No tutorial. Doesn't seem to work.
